Password vault ("Passwörter")

Every project has a small password vault for the installation's credentials — the router login, a visualisation account, the X1's admin password. It lives on the project's Passwörter tab.

Entries

Each entry has three parts:

  • Bezeichnung (label) — what it's for, e.g. "X1 Admin".
  • Passwort — the secret itself.
  • Notizen (notes) — free text for the username, URL, or any other context (there are no separate username/URL fields).

Add one with Passwort hinzufügen, reveal or hide the secret with Anzeigen / Verbergen, Kopieren it to the clipboard, or remove it with Eintrag löschen. Changes are saved with Speichern.

Encrypted at rest

Password values are encrypted with AWS KMS before they are stored — only ciphertext is written to the database. Show/hide is a local display toggle in your browser, not a fresh fetch each time.

Sharing with the building owner

By default the vault is integrator-only. You can give the building owner read-only access by granting the Passwörter einsehen ("view passwords") capability on the project's Kundenfreigabe tab. Once granted, the owner sees a Passwörter tab in their portal where they can show and copy the credentials — but never edit or delete them.

All-or-nothing

The grant covers the whole vault, not individual entries — there is no per-password visibility switch. Share it only when every credential in the vault is appropriate for the owner to see.
