Handover protocol ("Übergabeprotokoll")
The handover protocol is a print-ready document that summarises a whole project for the customer — the paperwork you hand over when the installation is done. KNX Clarity composes it for you from the project's current data.
What's in it
In order, the protocol contains:
- Project details — name, building, address, customer, start date, and who generated the document, when.
- Projektmeilensteine (milestones) — the five project stages (Grundprogrammierung, Abschlagsrechnung, Zahlung, ETS-Datei-Freigabe, Übergabe) with their confirmed/pending status.
- Räume, Geräte, Gruppenadressen, Funktionen, and Servicefälle — a table for each (empty sections are omitted).
- A signature block for the integrator and the customer.
Generating it
Open the project's Kundenfreigabe (customer access) tab and click Generieren. The protocol opens as a formatted, A4-styled page; save it as a PDF with your browser's print dialog (Ctrl/⌘ + P → Save as PDF).
Tick Direkt per E-Mail an den verknüpften Kunden senden before generating and the button becomes Erstellen + senden — the protocol is emailed to the project's linked customer as well. A Verlauf (history) list below the button keeps every past generation (with its room/device counts) so you can reopen an earlier one.
The protocol is standalone — it isn't tied to the transfer/escrow flow and isn't gated on any milestone. It always reflects the project's current state, so you can produce an interim copy whenever you need one. Generating it is an integrator action.
